St. John Neumann was a priest who changed the face of the Church in the United States, and his influence is felt to this day.
We are asking special friends of the Redemptorists and the Shrine of St. John Neumann to commemorate the 200th birthday of this saint with a gift to the Neumann Bicentennial Fund. Your gift, no matter the size, is important. Your contribution will be used to support one of three areas:
Capital improvements — including an elevator at the Neumann Shrine in Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, a welcome center will allow more groups to visit the Shrine. The estimated cost of this entire endeavor is $1.2 million.
An education fund for inner-city parish schools — The economic downturn has eliminated the Redemptorists’ $100,000 annual scholarship fund to assist inner-city schools. Your gift for the Redemptorist Parish School Fund will allow our Province to help our inner-city parish schools defray costs of needed programs and provide scholarships to deserving students whose families are enduring financial difficulties.
General ministry needs — John Neumann, the first man to profess his vows as a Redemptorist in the United States, was truly proud to be a son of our founder, St. Alphonsus Liguori. Your support of general ministries will allow the Redemptorists to proclaim the Word of God to our poor and most abandoned brothers and sisters.
You may make your contribution safely and securely online by clicking on the "Donate Online" button. Please indicate capital, education or general in the memorial box.
If you would prefer to donate by check, please indicate the designation in the memo line and send your gift to:
