From one Saint's legacy, we find many expressions of love and service as Redemptorists today strive to meet the challenges in the life of the Church through diverse evangelization efforts. Never have the needs of the world been more sophisticated and diverse. Never have the poor been so ignored. The demands upon the Redemptorists are intense as they serve as a beacon in the darkness bringing the light to those marginalized by poverty, disability and lack of opportunity. The Redemptorists, using the mediums of communication, theatre, the arts and education reach out for the disabled; guide young men and women to answer the call to help the less fortunate; initiate public and private devotions to Mary, celebrate Gods love and provide services to the aged. The many ways they serve continue to expand as the needs of our fellow man expand.

"Indeed the apostolic work of the Congregation is distinguished more by its missionary dynamism than by any particular forms of activity…"
