Sometimes you’ll notice them and sometimes you won’t. They can be good at hiding behind pillars or other parishioners but eventually, and thanks to God, they do approach you and then the flood gates open, whether it’s a man or woman.

A mirror doesn’t lie. Sometimes we might like it to. A mirror reflects how we look, not how we want to look. When Scripture is a window, it offers us a look in the past. But when the Word of God becomes a mirror, it begins to interpret our lives for today.

Redemptorist Father George Bridge died February 28 at the St. John Neumann Residence at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. He was 88. A viewing will be held March 4 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the main chapel at Stella Maris.
