Brother Manuel Martinez Gonzalez died March 15 at the St. John Neumann Residence at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. He was 82.
Brother Manuel was a beloved member of the Redemptorist community at the now-closed St. Boniface Parish in Philadelphia. He was born July 22, 1928, and professed vows as a Redemptorist August 2, 1959.
Two funeral services are planned.
A viewing will be held Monday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the main chapel at Stella Maris, 2300 Dulaney Valley Rd., Timonium, MD. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 22 from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 1019 North Fifth St., Philadelphia, PA. A funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Philadelphia.
