Our own Father John Murray, who was paralyzed during a bad fall last August and has been living at the St. John Neumann Residence at Stella Maris, was the homilist at the jubilee Mass. But perhaps more eloquent than his words were the actions that backed them up. Father Murray delivered his homily standing up at the ambo — the first time he’d been able to do so in almost one year, and in contradiction to the medical diagnoses that said he would never walk again.
