Did you ever stop to think about the good you can do by example? I heard a story recently that gives an example for reflection. A group of businessmen had just finished a meeting and were scheduled to catch a flight to another city for another important meeting. One of them looked out the window and saw an empty cab. They grabbed their luggage and ran out the door and across the street to the cab. In doing so, they knocked over a fruit and vegetable stand but kept on going.
But one of the men stayed behind, picking up the good fruit and vegetables and putting them back in the stand. While he did so, he realized the lady tending the stand was blind. He also realized he had missed the cab. The lady kept shouting, “You must be Jesus—that’s what he would do!”
The man caught another cab, but it got tied up in traffic, and he missed his flight. So he got a flight out early the next morning—and made the meeting after all because it had been delayed in starting.
God works in strange ways! The businessman was rewarded for his good deed.
You never know how things are going to work out, but you can be sure God will take care of you!

¿Alguna vez te detuviste a pensar acerca del bien que puedes hacer con el buen ejemplo? Yo escuché una historia recientemente que da un ejemplo de reflexión.
Un grupo de empresarios había acabado de terminar una reunión y tenían programado tomar un vuelo a otra ciudad para otra reunión importante. Uno de ellos miró por la ventana y vio un taxi vacío al otro lado de la calle. Ellos agarraron sus equipajes y corrieron hacia la puerta y cruzaron la calle para tomar el taxi. Al hacerlo, ellos tropezaron con un puesto de fruta y vegetales, pero no se detuvieron, siguieron su camino.
Pero uno de los hombres se quedó atrás, recogiendo la buena fruta y vegetales y poniéndolos en el puesto de nuevo. Mientras lo hizo, él se dio cuenta que la señora que atendía el puesto era ciega. Él también se dio cuenta que había perdido el taxi.
La señora siguió diciendo: “Tú debes ser Jesús: ¡Eso es lo que Él haría!”
El caballero tomó otro taxi, pero lo agarró el tráfico, y perdió el vuelo. Así que obtuvo un pasaje para volar temprano la mañana siguiente—él llegó a tiempo a la junta después de todo porque esta había sido retrasada.
¡Dios trabaja de maneras extrañas! El empresario fue recompensado por su buena acción. ¡Tú nunca sabes cómo van ocurrir las cosas, pero puedes estar seguro que Dios cuidará de ti!
