Archbishop Edward Gilbert, a Redemptorist and the archbishop of Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, was the celebrant and homilist Saturday at a special Mass marking the Neumann Year. Hundreds of lay people and dozens of Redemptorists participated in the liturgy, which included a parade of nations and prayers of the faithful read in several different languages. The Mass was followed by a reception at a nearby banquet hall.
