Dolores made a mission in Bloomsburg, PA. She says she was very fragile at the time and the mission changed her life completely. In her own words:
“The big thing was, I was going through a very bad personal time, a bit of depression, rejected by my five siblings. My father and mother-in-law died within six weeks of each other. My mother had breast cancer.
When Father asked, “Jesus, how much do you love me?” and stretched out his arms so wide and said, “This much,” I think I got it. I felt so bad about myself, so unloved, so unloveable and, suddenly I knew that God really loved me.
My mother always spoke about the anger of God and here I realized that wasn’t true. I began to believe in God’s love for me. I couldn’t get enough of it. I’m okay now, but for a long time I was afraid it wouldn’t last.”
