The Shrine of St. John Neumann and St. Peter’s School in Philadelphia recently hosted a special guest: Archbishop Dominik Duka of Prague, Czech Republic. St. John Neumann was born in what is today the Czech Republic, and studied at the seminary in Prague before traveling to America to become a missionary.
The archbishop was welcomed by students from St. Peter’s School, and then given a tour of the Neumann Shrine. Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput and retired Cardinal Justin Rigali escorted Archbishop Duka during his visit.
