Jean-Jacques “Jacky” Merlian, a member of the Redemptorists’ English-speaking Region, died on July 19, 2021, age 39 and two months. Born in Grand Bois, Ouest, Haiti, on May 22, 1982, to Jean and Marguerite (Pierristal), he was baptized on February 12, 1983, at St. Pierre de Grand-Bois.

The Rev. James Howard Geiger of the St. John Neumann community, Stella Maris, Timonium, Maryland, died July 15, 2021, aged 87 and seven months. Father Geiger is predeceased by his brother and fellow Redemptorist William Geiger who died in 2007.
