Father Donald Miniscalco, C.Ss.R died April 30, 2024, a few weeks ahead of his 81st birthday. He was born May 25, 1943 in Philadelphia, the son of Daniel and Mildred (Lagana). Father Don made his perpetual vows in 1965 at Mt. St. Alphonsus Seminary, where he was ordained in 1968.

Father Andrew W. Carr, of the St. John Neumann Community, Timonium, Maryland, died on December 7, 2023, aged 94 and three months. He was born on August 21, 1929, in Manhattan, the son of Andrew and Hannah (O’Brien). He was also the brother of Father William E. Carr, C.Ss.R., who died in 1989.

Father Eugene Grohe, C.Ss.R., a member of the Saint Alphonsus Villa community, New Smyrna Beach, Florida, died peacefully on November 18, 2023, aged ninety-nine and two months.

Rev. Harold (‘Padre Andres’) Spacht, C.Ss.R., formerly of North East, Pennsylvania, died on November 7, 2023, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.

Brother Raphael Rock, C.Ss.R., a member of the Saint John Neumann Residence, Timonium, Maryland, died on October 13, 2023, age 91 and two months.

Glanville Ignatius Joseph, C.Ss.R., a member of the St. Alphonsus Villa community in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, died, age 71 and nine months.

Rev. James Brennan, C.Ss.R., of the Stella Maris community, Timonium, Maryland, died on January 20, 2023, age 84 and seven months.

Rev. Edward Joseph Gray, C.Ss.R., of the Saint Alphonsus Villa community, New Smyrna Beach, Florida, died on November 27, 2022, age 90 and three months.

Father Francis Sullivan, C.Ss.R., of the St. John Neumann community at Stella Maris, Timonium, MD, died on November 17, 2022, age 88 and seven months.

Father Kevin Milton, C.Ss.R., a member of the St. Alphonsus Villa community at New Smyrna Beach, Florida, died August 9, 2022, at the age of 81 years and 4 months.

Father Patrick John McGarrity, C.Ss.R., a member of the St. John Neumann community at Stella Maris, Timonium, Maryland, died May 27, 2022, at the age of 86 years and 5 months. 

Rev. Frank Nelson, C.Ss.R., a member of the St. John Neumann community at Stella Maris, Timonium, Maryland, died on May 16, 2022, age 84 and three months. 

Brother De Sales Zimpfer, of the St. John Neumann Residence, Stella Maris, Timonium, Maryland died on May 1, 2022, three days ahead of his 87th birthday. 

Father Arthur Gildea, of the community at the St. Alphonsus Villa, New Smyrna Beach, Florida, died March 29, 2022, age 80 and one month. 

Father John P. Lavin, aka “Padre Juan,” of the community at the St. John Neumann Residence, Stella Maris, Timonium Maryland, died February 12, 2022, age 80 and nine months.

Father Ronald E. Bonneau, C.Ss.R., of the St. Mary’s community, Annapolis, Maryland, died on November 9, 2021, aged 76 and eleven months. Born on December 12, 1944, in Hanover, New Hampshire, he was the son of Edward and Helen.

Father Carl W. Hoegerl, a member of the St. John Neumann community at Stella Maris, Timonium, Maryland, died on November 4, 2021, age 98. Carl W. Hoegerl was born October 10, 1923, in Harmonsburg, Pennsylvania, near “metropolitan Meadville,” and was schooled in St. Peter’s Parish in Conneautville.

Father Richard K. Poetzel , a member of the St. John Neumann community at Stella Maris, Timonium, Maryland, died on September 24, 2021, age 85 and ten months. He was born November 1, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland, to Carl and Magdalen (Weber).
